Best video on UA-cam on this… my main issues was not paying close enough attention to the way you lined up all the gears. I removed bottom motor assembly and didn’t need the screwdriver trick only because I was frustrated 😩

I’m never one to comment on UA-cam videos, but wow this is one of the best how-to’s I’ve ever watched. I put one of these in months ago and got lucky on my 3rd try putting it in, I tried your trick with the screwdriver alignment tool and it went in first try. Props to you for ingenuity and a great video

Just what I needed. Had my whole dash apart and thought I had the assembly lined up correctly. It seems to go in fine, but all I have now is cold air on the windshield. Thanks for taking the time to make this video.

Will this fix my AC not blowing out of the face vents? It works fine when i switch it to ever other location, but when I set it to anything that includes the face vents, nothing comes out of them. Thanks!

Really happy I found this video, it was super helpful. thanks for making it. I guess the only thing I’d add is after turning my dial to full cold full face. My large center white gear was not lined up I was able to pop it out from behind and position it to the other gears which were again set the full cold full face. Doors set as he said with rubber bands, nice trick 👍

Listen. I really appreciate you making this so simple and accurate. I was absolutely distraught when I took my assembly off and realized that the short white arm for the floor vents was broken off it’s shaft. I gave it a couple of increasing small drill holes and then drilled into the shaft inside the box and used a 3mm self tapping screw to fixate it. So far it’s holding after I timed and installed this assembly. Finally have air from my dash vents and can choose where I want the heat now. Thanks again. Huge help getting it installed.

Thanks for the video, the tips on the flapper and gear positions was precise and perfect, made it super easy to put back together, all except my large hands trying to get a couple of those screws back in place. Nice to have the cold air on my face again on these hot summer days.
